Muay Thai is a traditional martial art from Thailand known as the “Art of 8 Limbs.” It uses punches, kicks, knees, and elbows. At Empower Muay Thai, we teach authentic Thai techniques while keeping safety and personal growth at the center.
We accept students as young as 4 years old in our Recruits program. Kids are placed by developmental stage rather than strict age cutoffs to ensure they feel confident and successful.
Not in the younger levels. Our golden rule for youth classes is: “We never touch each other.” Students use pads, games, and teamwork to learn skills. Optional sparring is only introduced at the teen level when kids are ready.
Absolutely! Many of our adults come in with no martial arts background. We’ll meet you where you are — whether that means building confidence, fitness, or stepping into competition later on.
It means we recognize that students may come in with different life experiences. Our coaches are trained as peer support specialists and create a safe, supportive environment. You’ll never be pushed faster than you’re ready.
Comfortable athletic wear (t-shirt and shorts/leggings). Over time, you’ll want hand wraps and gloves. New members receive starter gear in their welcome kit.
We recommend starting with 2–3 classes per week. Consistency matters more than intensity — we’ll help you build a schedule that fits your life.
Unlimited Memberships start at $160/month for adults and $120/month for kids, with discounts for families, veterans, and first responders. We also offer camps, workshops, and special programs — check our Pricing page for details.
